Mt. Kilimanjaro--Luncheon Lecture Series
Karen Marietti, director of the Camp Daggett Adventure Center, has spent most of her adult life working and living experientially. Mt. Kilimanjaro was always on her list of places to go and, when she was diagnosed with breast cancer, she decided it was time to make the climb. In 2017, she and three other women climbed the 19,340 feet to the summit. Programs are held on Fridays in the Library Conference Room. $12 includes lunch. Lunch begins at 11:30 a.m. Program begins at noon. Reservations are required. You must call 231-348-6600.
