Downtown Petoskey Winter Carnival

Celebrate the winter at Petoskey's Winter Carnival on downtown Petoskey. This year, Downtown Petoskey is excited to announce its' partnership with the long-running Winter Sports Park Winter Carnival! .
Friday
Chocoholic Frolic, 3-7pm. Tour the downtown stores, and be treated to chocolate treats wherever you go! If you visit all of the participating stores, you can enter into the drawing for the Chocoholic Gift Basket. To participate, simply pick up a Stamp Book at the Downtown Office or at any participating store and start your chocolate tour!
Saturday
DOWNTOWN
Cardboard sled workshop, 10am-2pm Petoskey District Library. Cardboard and all other essentials will be supplied. Make your cardboard sled at the Library, then take it to the Winter Sports Park and register for the Cardboard sled race!
Park Activities beginning at 2pm
Kids activities hosted by the YMCA of Northern Michigan
Ice Bar Celebration sponsored by Ruff Life Pet Outfitters, 2-6pm
Music from Lite 96.3 with DJ Tim Nixon

Search the stores for Olaf
Once you find him in all of the participating stores, turn your Olaf stamp book into the downtown office by 4pm Sunday, February 16th for a chance to win win $100 in Downtown Dollars. Pick up an Olaf stamp book at the Downtown Office located at 216 Park ave or any participating store and start searching!

12pm, Bumpjumping Competition Begins Come check out or compete in an event unique to Northern Michigan.
3pm, Youth Sledding Competition Ages 12 & under, 3 divisions
6pm, Cardboard Challenge Registration
6:30pm, Figure Skating Exhibition By the Petoskey Figure Skating Club (choreographed by Anne Murray & Terri Seever)
7pm, Cardboard Challenge Competition Individuals, teams & organizations are all encouraged to participate. Judged on speed & creative design. Cardboard/Duct Tape/Paint
