March Spring Skiing Fun Up North - Mardi Gras, Krazy Daze, Carnival & More


March madness does not conjure images of basketball Up North: it's all about skiing. With great snow at Northern Michigan ski resorts, longer days with plenty of sunshine, and fun, fun, fun, at the three ski resorts, March is the time to go downhill Up North.

Here's what you can expect in this chock-full month of ski and family fun:

February 22
Dynastar/Lange GS Race is a day of giant slalom racing at Nub's Nob.

February 29
Friends & Family Race at Boyne Highlands.

Nub's Nob Open Northern Michigan's premier slalom racing event with top to bottom World Cup style slalom racing on Birch Run and Smokey.

March 7
K2 Banked Slalom features side-by-side slalom racing at Nub's Nob

March 14
Brew-Ski Festival at Boyne Highlands with lots of suds, sun, and ski fun.

March 10
Bartlett Cup, Volkl/Marker/POC Speed Series Super G Races takes place at Nub's Nob.

March 21
Carnival Weekend at Boyne Mountain Fun, games, contests, skiing, boarding and more.

Krazy Daze at Boyne Highlands
An all day party with games for the kids, live music in the Zoo Bar, costume contests and a chance to ski or snowboard across a pond, this can only mean one thing, Krazy Daze at Boyne Highlands.

Mardi Gras at Nub's Nob, annual Spring Fling with fun and games for all. Don't miss the Soaker Cup, Costume contest, Crazy couples and Pepsi Challenge races and the Petoskey Steel Drum Band on the deck!
